Open your preferred browser on the device you want to test, and go to the Slack Connection Test Page. Instead, they offer a test page that will check the underlying technologies for you, and let you know if anything is wrong.
UNABLE TO INSTALL SLACK ANDROID
System Info: OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Android 11 Build Number 11.0.1.3.HD61CB Any advice great appreciated, this has been a real PITA for a bit. Slack does not offer a way to run a 'test meeting' or make a 'test call'. I reached out to our IT department who manage our Slack workspace, and after several tries and them having installed and enabled it on their side and me trying to log in and out of our slack workspace several times, I was still getting the same error message. Cleared caches and data of play store and play services, restarts, the whole 9 yards and nothing seems to work.
After you complete your access call, Slack sends you an HTTP request response containing an access token. In trying to install and use it, however, I able to connect to outlook just fine, but when I try to authenticate slack I keep getting the error message that "Sorry, Microsoft Power Platform can't be installed : This app isn't listed in the Slack App Directory, so only workspace owners can install it." Note: If you initiate an install with the v2/authorize URL, it must be completed with oauth.v2.access, not the old oauth.access method.
In searching for a solution for this I found the Set do not disturb on Slack for upcoming Outlook calendar event automation. I am trying to set up a way in which my Do-not-disturb status in slack can be set when I am in a meeting, which these days is always via calls, in order to stop receiving slack notifications while I'm on the call.
